About The Event
Through stunning imagery, discover the beauty and significance of these cultural landmarks. Don't miss this opportunity to explore some of the most remarkable places on Earth and celebrate our shared global heritage. Mr. Vincent Ko became interested in World Heritage sites in July 2002, after discovering The World Heritage List in a magazine. Between 2002 and 2017, he visited 828 sites in 120 countries on 156 trips. In July 2012, UNESCO invited him to upload his photos to their official website. Join us for a journey through UNESCO World Heritage sites, captured through his lens.

About the speaker Vincent Ko (高漢釗) is a retired Solicitor, Notary Public, and China-Appointed Attesting Officer. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 1969 with a BA. He has an extensive background in various organizations, having held positions as Deputy President of the Hong Kong University Students' Union, Hon. Secretary & Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong University Alumni Association, Chairman of the Convocation of Hong Kong University, and member of the Council and Court of the University of Hong Kong.
Additionally, he served as National Director of the Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce, President of Peninsula Jaycees, President of City Lions Club, Director of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Chairman of Central and Western District Board, Member of Community Liaison Sub-committee of ICAC, Member of Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee Panel, Member of Supplementary Medical Professions Council, Member of Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service, and Member of Shenzhen's Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Legal Advisor of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. He was appointed as a JP in 1988.
About the moderator For three decades Bernadette Tsui (徐詠璇) led the portfolios of fundraising and networking at The University of Hong Kong, till she stepped down as Associate Vice-President in 2022. A pioneer in institutional advancement, she authored the book "The City with a Heart -- Stories of Giving from Hong Kong and Hong Kong University" (情義之都——從港大到香港的捐贈傳奇) -- capturing over 100 cases on values, principles and practices in philanthropy. She has been teaching for the Master’s degree in NonProfit Management at HKU’s Faculty of Social Sciences for seven years.
She was recognised with the "2018 Asia-Pacific Distinguished Service Award" by the international Council for Advancement and Support for Education (CASE) for her outstanding contributions and impact in the Region. She graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a BA and MPhil in drama. She furthered her theatre studies in New York University, Sophia University and interned in German theatres. A veteran in media and the arts, she is also a columnist for the Hong Kong Economic Journal. She is now a consultant and cultural slasher.
Her public service includes Member of the Town Planning Board, Member of the Hospital Governance Committee of Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital, and Advisor to InspiringHK Sports Foundation.
