About the book: “In this monograph, I try to give an in-depth analysis of the data on poverty and provide more reference material on the poverty situation analyzed by groups in Hong Kong. It invites different stakeholders to ponder more on poverty alleviation policies and to raise more awareness, participation, discussion, and research on poverty-related issues that will better our understanding of the situation so as to come up with effective and precise poverty alleviation policies that will make Hong Kong a liveable and caring city.” By Prof. Paul Siu Fai Yip
