This year the Main Library marks the 110th anniversary, and Fung Ping Shan Library is celebrating its 90th anniversary. On 24 June, the Kick-off Ceremony of One Library Two anniversaries, organized by The University of Hong Kong Libraries was held at the Digital Interactive Lab, Main Library.

Ms. Flora Ng, the Chief Information Officer & University Librarian, Ms. Bernadette Tsui, Associate Vice-President (Development & Alumni Affairs) and Mr. Kenneth Fung, grandson of the late Mr Fung Ping Shan, and Ms. Marissa Fung, great granddaughter of the late Mr Fung Ping Shan, officiated at the Ceremony.

At the Ceremony, a digital Donor Wall was unveiled, and a newly created video to celebrate achievements Libraries made was premiered. Finally, Ms Flora Ng presented a digital bookplate to Dr. Kan to express our gratitude for her dedication to the development of HKU Libraries.
