The Book talk: Poverty Alleviation in Responding to UN Sustainable Development Goals (2030): A Case in Hong Kong was successfully held on 26 May 2022. The speaker, Prof Paul Yip gave an detailed insight of the casues of poverty problem in Hong Kong and had a meaningful discussion with the participants on how to make changes to alleviate poverty problem.

 

Speaker: Prof. Paul Siu Fai Yip is Chair Professor (Population Health) at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, Associate Dean (Research) at the Faculty of Social Science, and the Director of the University's Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention, HKU.

Moderator: Prof. Keith Richburg is Director of the Journalism and Media Studies Centre and Professor of Practice, HKU
