The book《昨日的影 今日的光 — 粵語片劇照風華半世紀》,

edited and compiled by Oscar-winning director Ruby Yang,

features over 400 lobby stills, posters and playbills from San

Francisco Chinatown theatres of films made in Hong Kong in

the 1950s and 1960s, along with legendary stars of that time. It is a record of Hong Kong culture from the perspective of cinema.
